CSU Sea Survival Awareness Course

TWP, in conjunction with Cabin Safety Update (CSU), holds survival training courses for airlines. With courses tailored to customer requirements, we offer theoretical and practical survival training. In-house cabin crew instructor training has also proved a popular option.

In addition, we hold two-day Sea Survival Awareness Courses. The training is aimed at providing an over-all knowledge of sea and water survival issues for cabin crew instructors and safety managers

Taught in classroom and practical sessions, the subjects learned can then be used when teaching crew and in planning airline safety policy vis-à-vis Sea Survival.

Participants can expect to leave the course with an in-depth knowledge, both practical and theoretical, of all aspects concerning Sea Survival beyond that required by the regulatory authorities. This will give instructors and safety departments the confidence to build successful policies and impart essential, life-saving information to their crews.

In addition to the theoretical lessons, attendees undertake a wet drill, using life jackets, rafts and survival equipment; take part in a raft repair exercise and will have the opportunity to fire distress flares.

These courses will be held at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel, London Heathrow Marriott Hotel and cost £411.25/E 638/$760 per person (+ VAT).

In matching your needs as an airline, specific issues can be addressed and courses could be held at your training centre. Previous customers include British Midland, which hosted a one-day Survival Seminar for safety instructors and Geneva-based Privatair.
