Case Study - MES

A case study to highlight this capability features a major European airframe manufacturer. The company wanted to assess its PR department's output and how this was perceived by defence and aerospace journalists. TWP established a list of five similar global airframe manufacturers and developed a framework of questions covering such areas as speed of response to enquiries, quality of information contained in press releases, an assessment of how the company followed up questions concerning press releases, usefulness of press visits, the openness of the company to the press, access to senior executives and the quality of photographs available to the press.

These questions were presented in a 'blind' questionnaire to a list of 50 of the most senior global aerospace and defence journalists. The process ended with the companies being ranked through a matrix of scores and a detailed report on the target company's PR department. This report featured detailed comments from journalists as well as a consideration of improvements that could be made to the PR department.

Case Study - Technical Consultancy

The project described below was a two phase process. A European simulation manufacturer had developed a virtual small arms trainer which used some innovative display technologies. The company asked TWP to assess the new device and compare it with other devices on the market and to identify its unique capabilities.

Phase two of the project called on TWP to provide a 10-year assessment for virtual small arms trainers and identify key procurement opportunities. TWP has also conducted market assessments for trainer aircraft and flight simulators.

These types of report are unique to the client and can be tailored to highlight specifically requested topics, trends or requirements. This personalised and tailored approach means that the client receives accurately targetted information which will provide direct corporate benefit to the client.
