MT&SN Backgrounder

Military Training & Simulation News (MT&SN) was first published in 1996 as a monthly newsletter. Following military and training industry demand to raise the standard in military training publications, MT&SN evolved into its current magazine format in November 1999.

MT&SN follows TWP's ethos of Total Quality in Publishing (TQP), the key driver behind MT&SN's success in the market. Quality, value and impact are the reasons why our readers and media buyers see MT&SN as the only beyond-cutting edge military training publication in the world. TQP guarantees editorial integrity and a keen determination to surpass reader expectations, therefore, MT&SN is read and respected.

Regular features cover how the global military are using simulation in their training; interviews with key political, military and industrial leaders; overviews of training and simulation technology, comprehensive news pages and detailed reports and assessments of the markets for simulation and training.

MT&SN is unique in having a dedicated Editor with a wealth of military training experience. Trevor Nash spent 14 years in the British Army where he focused on training course design and delivery. On leaving the army, he became a Marketing Programme Manager for a company specialising in visual systems. A qualified pilot, Trevor Nash has worked for a number of training journals since 1990 prior to establishing MT&SN in 1996.

With an objective editorial team of writers in the UK and correspondents across the world, MT&SN brings a truly global perspective in reporting military training activities.
